Lucy Walford Bio
Lucy Walford is a qualified Specialist Menopause Yoga Teacher. Lucy’s approach is gentle, empathetic and kind, helping women to reduce stress and cope with peri-menopause and post menopause symptoms such as anxiety, fatigue, hot flushes and feelings of overwhelm or generally feeling out of sorts.
Lucy is a fully accredited Yoga and Pilates teacher also trained in pelvic care, mid-life women's mental and physical health, mindfulness and positive psychology.
Lucy runs Women's Wellness Retreats, Workshops and Classes in the UK and overseas and also consults on a one to one basis to create women's wellness solutions programmes for her clients.

Women's Wellness Deep Rest and Relaxation' evening
Tired, exhausted or need some ‘me’ time? Struggling with Menopause symptoms or need a break?
Women’s Wellness ‘Deep Rest & Relaxation’ event happening at Oxford Menopause, Carriage House, Ardington, Thursday 24th November 7-8.30pm.
Illuminated with soft candles and fairy lights, the scent of relaxing essential oils filling the air. We’ll begin with some gentle yoga movement and breathing practice (pranayama) to release any anxiety and tension and help us glide gently into relaxation. You'll receive hands-on adjustments and guidance to help cultivate a deeper sense of release and calm in this small group setting. Then a wonderful guided meditation to help you drift deeper through your Kosha states to the Bliss state . A state of deep rest and a chance to recharge where you will rest in stillness, without distraction. Share this intimate setting with a small group of like-minded women. No experience required, all welcome. £45

Menopause Yoga - 4 week course
On this 4 week Specialist Menopause Yoga course you'll learn more about women's health at mid-life. You'll learn how Yoga in its holistic form, can help symptoms such as menorage, hot flushes, low mood, fatigue and anxiety using restorative yoga poses, meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques) and other ancient techniques to soothe and nourish. We'll gather in an intimate setting with a small number of like- minded women where we will support and nurture ourselves. This course is a mixture of practical and theoretical and no experience is required. The group will be small, meaning you will have plenty of one to one adjustments, personal guidance and advice. This is open to all women who are seeking alternative, healthy ways to support their body, mind and emotions.

One to One Yoga and Mindfulness sessions

From breathing techniques aimed to soothe anxiety and a chaotic mind, to Mindfulness practice aimed at re-wiring the brain’s neural pathways and calming the nervous system, and everything holistic and nourishing that Yoga offers in between, these one to one sessions are tailored to bring a sense of deep rest, recharge and reset.
